Acupuncture Close Up

How does it work?

Acupuncture works by activating specific neural pathways, influencing hormone and neurotransmitter release, modulating immune responses, and improving circulation. These physiological changes help restore balance and promote the body's natural healing processes.

What Can It Help?

1

Pain Management

Acupuncture stimulates the release of endorphins and other natural pain-killers, while also increasing blood flow to affected areas. This dual action reduces pain perception and promotes healing of damaged tissues.

2

Digestive Health

By stimulating specific acupoints, acupuncture can regulate gut motility, reduce inflammation, and balance the nervous system's control over digestive functions. This helps normalize bowel movements and reduce discomfort.

3

Mental Health

Acupuncture modulates neurotransmitter activity and reduces cortisol levels, promoting a state of relaxation. This helps balance mood, reduce anxiety, and improve overall

mental clarity.

4

Oncology Support

Acupuncture helps manage cancer treatment side effects by reducing nausea, alleviating pain, boosting immune function, and improving energy levels. It also supports overall well-being during the treatment process.

5

Sleep Quality

By regulating the body's circadian rhythms and promoting the release of sleep-inducing hormones like melatonin, acupuncture helps establish healthier sleep patterns and improve overall sleep quality.

6

Respiratory Function

Acupuncture can reduce inflammation in the airways, regulate immune responses, and improve lung capacity. This combination helps alleviate respiratory distress and enhances overall breathing function.
